My interest in financial planning started early. At 10, I worked as a farm hand and saved my earnings in a passbook savings account. Each week, I'd ask the bank teller how much "free money(interest)" I made, and it got me excited about making money work as hard as possible for you.
I'm a Columbus, OH native. My wife Marjie, our son Cormick, our daughter Quinn, and our dog Dasher, are my biggest inspirations. Balancing family life with saving for retirement is no small feat these days, and I share with my clients the same strategies I use to set us up for success.
Outside of work, I coach youth football and have been a Cub Master for our local community of Upper Arlington. I played college football at Ashland University and am a big Buckeyes fan. I also enjoy snow skiing, family getaways, and camping with the Indian Princess Guides. Family time is precious to me, and I cherish every moment with them. The Bland family enjoys staying active - through sports like soccer, football, basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball. We are also very engaged in the community - supporting their favorite causes and volunteering with Alicia's closet, Columbus Diaper Bank, school PTO, and the Upper Arlington Public Library.
